The following Rules are designed to facilitate productive use of limited resources; your cooperation and observance of the Rules are appreciated. In general, any behavior that does not promote a quiet, learning environment in the lab is strictly prohibited.
WAM LABS ARE PROVIDED FOR THE STUDENTS, FACULTY, AND STAFF OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND, COLLEGE PARK ONLY. You may be asked to leave if you cannot exhibit a valid University ID.
NO EATING, DRINKING, OR SMOKING IS PERMITTED IN THE LAB.
GAMING PLAYING IS NOT PERMITTED WHEN OTHER USERS ARE WAITING FOR A WORKSTATION OR IF IT DISRUPTS THE WORK OF OTHERS.
WAM LAB USE IS SUBJECT TO THE UNIVERSITY'S GUIDELINES FOR THE ACCEPTABLE USE OF COMPUTING RESOURCES. Use of an account other than your own is strictly prohibited. Copies of the Guidelines are posted at the First Aid Station or may be viewed at http://www.inform.umd.edu/aug.
DO NOT POWER OFF THE WORKSTATIONS. If you need assistance please see a First-Aider or call Workstation Support (X52954).
CLOSE ALL APPLICATIONS BEFORE LEAVING THE WORKSTATION (for example, signing off your electronic mail account and WAM or Glue account).
