  • Allegro Common Lisp 5.0.1 (tap allegro)
  • Ansys 5.6 (tap ansys)
  • IDL 5.3 (tap idl)
  • Magic 6.5.1 (tap magic)
  • Maple 6.01 (tap maple)
  • Matlab 5.3.1 (tap matlab)
  • Purify 5.1 (tap purify)
  • Star Office 5.2 (tap staroffice)
• Mathematica 4.1 is now available as "tap mathematica41"

• SAS 8.1 has been installed (tap sas81)

04/26/2001

• J2SE Java 2 Standard Edition has been installed (tap newjava) for Solaris and Tru64 Unix.
  Solaris version also includes Java3D.
• OpenGL 1.2.1 for Solaris has been installed.

• Netscape 4.77 has been installed as "netscape-new"
• Flash Player 5.0 for Solaris has been installed.

• Real Player 8.0 has been installed as "realplay"
• J2SE (v1.3.0) is now the default version available as "tap java"
• Netscape (Solaris only) has new Real and Java plugins.

• Matlab 6.0 has been installed (tap matlab60)
• SAS 8.2 has been installed (tap sas82)
• IDL 5.4 has been installed (tap idl54)
• Allegro Lisp 6.0 has been installed (tap allegro60)
• Insure++ 5.2 has been installed (tap insure52)
• Sun Forte Developer 6 Update 1 has been installed for Solaris 2.6 and Solaris 7

• REVTeX version 4 has been installed. Use tap tetex to use TeX/LaTeX as usual, but beyond that, no special action is required.

• GNU Emacs 21.1 has been installed as /usr/local/bin/emacs21
