Subject: Chrysler ABS problems -- potential litigation

I am a New York attorney representing some clients who have had serious brake
problems with their Chrysler vehicles. On their behalf, I am investigating
the problem and considering a possible nationwide class action. If an action
were to be filed in federal court under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, there
would need to be 100 named plaintiffs -- not each plaintiff would be the
"class representative," but would have to own or have owned a Chrysler with
brake problems of one kind or another.

I obtained your email address from Charlene Blake, who I have been working
with in obtaining information, or saw notes you left on the Internet or
America Online concerning this issue. I would be very interested in learning
the details of your situations with respect to the ABS. You could either
email me (DBH1959@aol.com) or call me (Brian Hufford) at (212) 661-1100. If
you do call, I will immediately call you back so that I bear the expense.
Charlene has also given me some phone numbers, so I will be calling some
people directly as well.

Aside from general histories with respect to Chrysler and the ABS, I am also
interested in any theories as to what has caused the problem. If you have
any insights or know anyone who does, that would be appreciated. In
addition, if you have any information that could be useful against Chrysler,
such as admissions by dealers or Company reps, or if you know of other people
who have had problems, that would be helpful as well.

Litigation takes time, but I am hopeful that a decent case against Chrysler
can be developed which could be moved forward relatively quickly (after
getting a list of at least 100 plaintiffs). After learning about the problem
from a friend (and now a client) whose breaks failed on his Jeep Cherokee, I
have been amazed at how widespread the problem appears to be.

I look forward to hearing from you.
