I have a 92 Cherokee which has the Teves ABS system, not the Bendix.
I had been in contact with Charlene Blake because I had a very weird
problem with my brake pedal sticking down. Of course, no one at any
of 6 Chrysler dealers in the area could figure out the problem for
OVER TWO YEARS. I finally asked rec.auto.4x4 and they all told me
the "vacuum power booster" was the problem. They were right.

I find it strange that no one, not even Chrysler, had ever seen this
before. It's also funny that when I did finally take it to the
local dealer, they suddenly had a computer they could use to
pinpoint the problem. (I think it was programmed to deal only with
the Bendix system previously.)

Chrysler wasn't willing to help out more than $100 even though I'd
spent about $1500 in car rentals, time, diagnosis, and ineffective
repairs.

Anyway, you might want to think about adding an area on your page
where people can add their ABS-related experiences, like me!
