It is interesting to see how many dodge/chrysler vehicles have had paint
problems. I own a 1997 Dakota. Before I had 1,000 miles on it the paint
was peeling. i recieved a notice from chrysler that they had missed a
step in the painting process. The phone number for the Chrysler Paint
Resolution Group is 1-800-215-6230. Perhaps they can help you resolve
your paint problems. They gave me three options:  1. They will re-paint
my truck from front to back, free bed  liner, lifetime warranty on paint,
loaner to drive while painting and  $3,000.00 cash for my trouble.  2.
They will pay me sticker price and I can buy whatever I want.  3. I can
trade straight across for an identical vehicle.

I have been very happy with chrysler and feel that they are treating
me right.
