Hi, I'm Carol Ann

I am currently in school for Education at the University of Maryland. I am a 39 year old female and my name is Carol Ann. I have 4 kids and a great husband. I have never written a blog before, but I have always found writing to be helpful to my thought process. I have a great extended family and have my parents, grandparents, and my brother, sister in law, and nieces living close enough to visit for holidays and such, which is great for my kids.

As a mother of 4 there is not quite enough down time for me to be and think. Things are crazy to keep up with the kids, school and the household. I chose education as a major for a dual purpose. The first is because I really love having the same hours as my kids and I love having summers off. The second reason is that I think that our education system is on the decline and feel that my love for and understanding of children gives me a real leg up in this field.

I am excited to be able to share my day to day life and thoughts on this blog, not only to share with you, but also so I can get a better insight into myself.
