WOW! - Words Of Wisdom

Do you want to read the bible, but you just can't sit down and do it with all that schoolwork? Well then, you should check out this new fellowship called WOW!

WOW!, or Words of Wisdom, is a great way for anyone to learn more about the bible. Small groups will study different books of the bible to find out what the bible actually says. There are no catches and you can join or quit at anytime. We won't tell you how to interpret the bible; we are reading the actual text and sharing our understandings.

Each small group will meet once a week and will have a group leader. People from all University recognized religions could lead a study. Our goal is to have one WOW! group in every dorm building by the end of the year.

WOW! is led and created by the Lutheran Student Association and is open to everyone. There are not requirements to be a part of the study!

Other Theological Activities

Pre-seminary group: Meets every other Monday, start date TBD. A group discussion for those interested in exploring a church vocation.

Lets Explore Theological Stuff (LETS): Meets every Thursday at 6:00PM in the Chapel Conference room. A time for discussion about faith, what the church teaches, and contemporary issues. In the past, topics have included just war, the death penalty, creation, and "When Religion Becomes Evil."
