Yu-Gi-Oh!

The Trading Card Game

A Fanpage from Grifter Hans

Yu-Gi-Oh! is a card game from Upper Deck based on the TV program (based on the manga). I read the manga every month in my Shonen Jump! magazine. I don't have a TV yet, so I haven't seen the anime. But, after reading the issue in the manga where Yugi plays cards against the school bully, I totally wanted to get my hands on some of the cards!

Finally, yesterday, my wish came true. I went to this totally cool game shop just outside of campus (the CD/Game Exchange, right next to the Marathon Deli and Panda Chinese) and they had some starter decks there that I could actually afford to buy!

Today, I played my first card game against my kid brother. It's definitely cool, but the rules are a little bit long to study when getting started. Although I lost my first match, I think that there's definitely some potential in the game. (new CCGs are always cool!)

Anyway, I'll have more to say later, once I find some graphics to make my fanpage with! Seeya!

Well, I didn't get a chance to find any online-graphics for this page, but I wrote a Battle Report of our Ninth Duel. I won't spoil it for you by revealing what happened, so you'll have to read it in all it's glory to find out.

I showed the Battle Report to Felix, and he said that it only needs some cool scans of the involved cards to make it top notch! I'm totally happy about it, but my scanner isn't working right now. I'm working on getting it set up again, though, and soon...!
